ZHANGQIU, China: As American food safety regulators head to China to investigate how a chemical made from coal found its way into pet food that killed dogs and cats in the United States, workers in this heavily polluted northern city openly admit that the substance is routinely added to animal feed as a fake protein.

The Abyssinian is a form of tabby. It has the characteristic facial markings such as the distinctive "M" on the forehead.
The ears are large and pointed as though listening. The eyes are pronounced by a dark ring as though the cat is wearing black eyeliner.
Each hair shaft has a combination of different colors called ticking. The ground color is closest to the skin.
Darker bands alternate with lighter colored ones. This is called the agouti pattern.
